REMBIZ was established in 2008. We are a locally owned and operated small business with a great understanding of how we can help other local businesses, both big and small. We also specialise in farm and agriculture bookkeeping services including agricultural contracting. We recognise the increasing complexities involved with financial reporting requirements for time-poor business owners and our focus is on lessening the burden businesses face when preparing their financial information.

Rebecca Balfour

Director & Management Accountant

Rebecca founded REMBIZ in 2008 with a passion for helping business owners gain clarity and confidence in their finances.

With more than 30 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, business administration, and financial management, Rebecca brings a practical and strategic approach to supporting businesses. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Southern Queensland, is a Registered BAS Agent, and a Fellow Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).

Growing up in Warwick and being actively involved in agriculture and family business, Rebecca understands the unique challenges faced by rural enterprises, farming families, contractors, and regional business owners. Her experience working alongside agricultural businesses has provided valuable insight into seasonal cash flow, business growth, and the day-to-day realities of running a family operation.

Rebecca is passionate about helping clients move beyond traditional bookkeeping and use their financial information as a tool for growth, better decision-making, and long-term success. She believes strong relationships are the foundation of great business support and is committed to ensuring every client feels supported, understood, and empowered.

Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, being involved in agriculture, fishing, gardening, and making the most of life.
